The latest episode of RHONJ season 13, episode 9, certainly did not disappoint. From explosive arguments to tearful apologies, this episode had it all. Instead, this scandal involves a business deal gone wrong between Joe Gorga and his sister’s husband, Luis that has fueled their bad blood. The details of this deal are quite murky, and even Joe himself seems to struggle to explain what went down.
In Pizzagate 2: The Way of Water, the audience is provided with a glimpse into the alleged conflict between Teresa and Dina Manzo. Joe and Melissa only provide gossip and tabloid headlines as a source of information. It is rumored that their falling out may have been related to a business deal that went sour between Teresa’s ex-husband and Dina’s husband, although the specifics are unclear. Furthermore, it is disclosed that Dolores has replaced Dina as one of Teresa’s bridesmaids, and there’s animosity between Dolores and Dina. Unfortunately, the show only offers vague hints instead of concrete details, leaving the audience frustrated.
Tension between Dolores and Dina, and Frank’s mustache
The current plotline of this reality show is not captivating. Instead, I’m itching for more information on the mysterious Pizzagate and a deep dive into the tension between Dolores and Dina. Laura, who has been name-dropped throughout the series, yet never appears on screen, also intrigues me. And let’s not forget about Frank’s old photos – his mustache makes him my ideal man, and I’d be willing to overlook traffic to help him cheat on Dolores.
But what has me hooked is John Fuda’s incredible journey as a single father raising his son Jaiden all on his own. How did he manage to do it without any help, and what lessons can we learn from his experience? AMC could turn this into an excellent limited series, and I’m already hooked. I found the scene between Rachel and John discussing their desire to adopt Jaiden heartwarming.
The RHONJ s13 episode 9 started with Teresa and Jackie finally sitting down to discuss their differences. After weeks of tension and arguments. It was a refreshing attempt to find common ground. However, the wounds were still fresh, and the conversation quickly devolved into finger-pointing and accusations. They were unable to find a resolution to their issues.
Meanwhile, Dolores continued to navigate her complicated relationship with David. David, being a renowned plastic surgeon and couldn’t give Dolores the desired attention because of his busy schedule. In this episode, Dolores reached her breaking point and demands David; “Put in more effort to make our relationship work”. It was heart-wrenching as Dolores tearfully explained that she didn’t want to waste any more time in a relationship that wasn’t going anywhere.
Margaret Confronts Jennifer over Her Husband’s Treatment
The drama continued as Margaret confronted Jennifer about her treatment of her husband, Joe. Margaret accused Jennifer of being rude and disrespectful to her husband, and Jennifer didn’t take kindly to the criticism. The two women went back and forth, with each one refusing to back down. It was a classic Housewives argument, full of raised voices and dramatic gestures.
However, the most shocking moment of this RHONJ’s episode came when Teresa revealed to the group that she had heard rumors about Evan, Jackie’s husband, cheating on her. The revelation sent shockwaves through the group, and Jackie was understandably upset. However, instead of reacting with anger, Jackie showed a vulnerable side and broke down in tears. It was a poignant moment, and one that showed just how much the drama of the show can affect its participants.
The real highlight of the episode came during the final scenes when Melissa organized a trip to Lake George for the ladies. We know, any time the Housewives go on a trip together, drama is sure to follow. And this trip was no exception. Within moments of arriving, the women were already bickering and arguing. It seemed that no one was safe from the drama, with even the usually calm and collected Dolores getting caught up in the fray.
Unanswered Questions
Withholding the most fascinating aspects of the show from the audience is frustrating. Why do Teresa’s friends oppose Luis? What is the backstory behind Danielle’s rocky relationship with her brother? I am also desperate to know who gave Dolores that killer compliment on her hair during her last confessional.
Meanwhile, the show RHONJ focuses on a long and fake visit with a coffee psychic, which is drawn out and uninteresting. Jen wanted to ensure that Margaret wouldn’t show up by having the meeting at a separate location, but Dolores needed to do the trip reveal at the party, so everyone, including Jackie and Jennifer, had to attend. There’s also a fight between Danielle and Rachel that nobody cares about, and more talk about Dolores and Frank, which is getting tiresome.

Having a larger cast with many friends create a more balanced viewing experience. Jackie and Jennifer are getting just enough screen time and taking some of the attention off of the primary players. Also watch, The Real Housewives of Miami, which features a cast of nine women, each with their unique charm. Perhaps that’s the secret – expanding their worlds to include more individuals.
After the parties end, the women filter out with some tension in the air, but it’s hard to pinpoint why. Is it because of last year’s drama with Jen and Margaret? Or is it because of the secrets being exposed, like Danielle’s remarks or Teresa’s uneven bridesmaid selection? It’s hard to say because the show seems to withhold information from viewers, leaving us frustrated and wanting more.
Episode 9 of Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 was an excellent addition. With plenty of drama and a few surprises, kept viewers on the edge of their seats. It will be interesting to see where the RHONJ goes from here. With tensions still high between some of the women, it’s clear that there’s still plenty of drama to come.
