‘The Last of Us’ premieres this week on HBO Max

The Last of Us series premieres this week on HBO Max.

The series is based on a post-apocalyptic drama. The series is based on a video game developed by Naughty Dog. The series is created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann for HBO.

The series is about Ellie, an adolescent girl, is being escorted across a post-apocalyptic United States by Joel, a smuggler. Joel is weaker in the series because he has hearing loss in one ear from a gunshot, and his knees hurt when he stands, in contrast to the games, which required Joel to occasionally display near-superhuman talents in order for the player to advance.

The star cast in the series include Bella Ramsey, Pedro Pascal, Ashley Johnson, Gabriel Luna, Anna Torv, Nico Parker, Troy Baker, Nick Offerman, Storm Reid, and much more.

The Last of Us is said to be the largest production in the history of Canada. Mazin and Druckmann will pen the nine episodes that make up the first season; the latter also wrote and directed the game. The score will be written by the game’s original composer, Gustavo Santaolalla.
