‘Barbie’ trailer runs in theatres before screening of ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’

On December 16, Avatar: The Way of Water opened in theatres, and moviegoers were treated to the first trailer for Barbie, starring Margot Robbie.

Fans can only view the teaser trailer for the impending live-action Barbie movie in theatres, where it has been affixed to the prints of the Avatar sequel. Robbie portrays the well-known doll in Greta Gerwig’s upcoming masterwork, and Ryan Gosling plays her partner Ken.

The teaser begins with Robbie standing above the beachgoers while donning the recognisable black and white bathing costume worn by the original Barbie doll.

Quick glimpses of the Barbie universe are seen in the teaser, including moments when Ryan Gosling plays Ken and Simu Liu competes with Barbie in a dance-off.

Fans are disappointed after seeing the leaked preview video, which has gone viral online. The teaser trailer will be posted online on Friday, according to a tweet from Warner Bros. Pictures.

The movie will premiere on July 21, 2023. America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Mackey, and Michael Cera are all featured in the cast.
