Amber Heard will return in the upcoming Aquaman sequel after high-profile defamation case with ex-husband Johnny Deep last year.
Warner Bros came out with the first trailer for DC’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom during a presentation to the audience at CinemaCon. According to the news from the event, The trailer showed Amber Heard character making a short cameo with the underwater hero starring Jason Momoa regardless of the rumors confirming her role in jeopardy.
While Testifying during the trial period, the President of DC admitted that her role resulted in the cut down screen time because of ‘lack of chemistry’ between both the actors. Along with that, the petition of having her removed from the film was also signed by 4.4 million people but there is no doubt that she is still playing in the film.
The trailer suggests that she won’t be playing the supporting role with the lead, which is to be replaced by Aquaman’s half-brother Orm Marius where she is only shown in two quick shots of a battle scene in the trailer shown at the festival.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is yet to be made in cinemas by December 20.
