‘The Boys’ Season 4 Cast and Characters
The Boys on Amazon has added new cast members for Season 4 including Elliot Knight from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Rob Benedict from Supernatural, and Rosemarie DeWitt from The Staircase.
DeWitt will portray Hughie’s mother opposite returning series actor Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead), who will play Hughie’s father. Hughie is played by Jack Quaid.
The Boys, a film based on the New York Times best-selling comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, offers a lighthearted and irreverent view of what happens when superheroes, who are revered as gods and enjoy the same level of fame, power, and respect as celebrities, abuse their superpowers instead of using them for good.
The Boys, a group of vigilantes dedicated to stopping the dishonest superheroes, continue their valiant quest to uncover the truth about The Seven and Vought, the enormous corporation in charge of managing the superheroes and hiding their murky secrets. The super-powerful are up against the seemingly helpless.
Eric Kripke, the show’s creator and executive producer in addition to being a writer, created the series. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, from Point Grey Pictures; Neal H. Moritz, Pavan Shetty, from Original Film; and Phil Sgriccia, Craig Rosenberg, Rebecca Sonnenshine, Ken Levin, and Jason Netter from Point Grey Pictures all serve as executive producers alongside Kripke. Along with Michael Saltz, Ennis and Robertson also serve as co-executive producers.
Amazon Studios, Sony Pictures Television Studios, Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures all contributed to the production of The Boys.
