Sylvester Stallone, Bear Grylls, and Endemol Shine North America have formed a production alliance to produce “genre-bending” and action-packed television shows.
The Paramount+ series Tulsa King and the feature films Rambo: Last Blood and Samaritan were recently produced by the Rocky actor’s Balboa Productions, which is also slated to executive produce the new series.
Following the announcement, the parties involved discussed the production collaboration, with Stallone noting that his ambition has always been to push the limits in life and all of his artistic activities.
According to Stallone, “My objective has always been to push the edge in everything I do, both personally and professionally. Combining the unlikely with the amazing to produce the unforgettable is the most rewarding thing in the world.”
Sharon Levy, Chief Content Officer, Endemol Shine North America, added, “We are incredibly pleased to be collaborating with two of the largest worldwide personalities in both action and adventure, Sylvester Stallone and Bear Grylls.”
Grylls said, “It’s a complete honor to work with the whole Balboa Productions team.”
The series’ possible storyline is unknown, but given that Stallone and Grylls are part of the production team, we may anticipate some heart-pounding exploits.
Sylvester Stallone will be starring in the new Yellowstone spinoff Tulsa King, releasing November 13, 2022.
