Spirited star Reynolds leads the Maximum Effort Investments with McElhenney, of American comedy series ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’, and fellow-actor Michael B. Jordan as co-investors.

In 2021, Reynolds and Rob McElhenney completed their purchase of Wrexham. The following year, in April, the Welsh club won the National League and qualified them for the Football League for the first time in 15 years.

Regarding the importance of the merger, Alpine’s Chief Executive Officer Laurent Rossi said the following: “This association is an important step to enhance our performance at all levels.”

According to Rossi, the money would assist in raising the F1 team’s profile, which would be beneficial to Alpine’s long-term performance.
