David Beckham former assistant Rebecca Loos calls out Beckham for calling their affair as scandal in the new docuseries Beckham.
In Beckham’s recently aired Netflix docuseries Beckham, the 48-year-old soccer star’s former assistant, Loos, has taken issue with the way he portrayed their alleged affair. Loos, aged 46, broke her silence on the affair scandal for the first time since the series began streaming. “He’s making himself the victim and making me look like the liar. He’s making me look like I made up these horrible stories,” Loos said. “It’s all, poor me. He needs to take responsibility.”
In a video interview published by the Daily Mail, Loos expressed that Beckham’s handling of the affair scandal in Beckham implied that she was the one who caused suffering to Victoria. The docuseries on Beckham’s life and career was released in early October. It brought attention to Loos, who mentioned in 2004 that she and the then-Real Madrid player had engaged in multiple liaisons while he was married to Victoria Beckham.
The former England captain consistently denied any claims of infidelity and indirectly alluded to the alleged affair saga in the docuseries Beckham.
Loos said Beckham blaming his wife’s suffering on her “bothered” her because he’s the one who decides to lie to her, to say we don’t have to tell my wife.” Despite the hatred she faced after the docuseries’ release, Loos remains firm in her statements. She emphasized that she holds no regrets, affirming, “I’ve fully embraced the decisions I’ve made and the mistakes I’ve committed. I’ve made peace with them.”
Reflecting on her journey, Loos concluded, “I’m so grateful, I have the most incredible husband, children, and family.” Loos denies to comment any further over the controversy.
