Aubrey Plaza clears conspiracy theory of ‘The White Lotus’ finale
What actually transpired between Harper and Cameron in The White Lotus is confirmed by Aubrey Plaza, and calls it “disgusting.”
Spoiler Alert for The White Lotus Season 2 Finale
After Ethan (Will Sharpe) found a flustered Harper in their hotel room after disappearing with Cameron, naturally alarm bells rang. Harper insisted nothing happened, before later claiming Cameron kissed her. Ethan wasn’t convinced, and neither were we. Well, turns out Ethan was paranoid with good reason.
Appearing on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Plaza confirmed there was more to it than what was shown.
‘I know what happened, okay?’ she spilled. ‘And what happened is, we did some stuff, and I hated every minute of it. ‘It was disgusting, and there was no penetration.’
Stressing that she he hadn’t seen the final cut, Plaza seemed confused when Meyers revealed in the episode it was suggested they just kissed. ‘Just a kiss?’ she questioned.
After confronting Haprer, Ethan turned to Cameron’s wife Daphne (Meghan Fahy) and let her know he thought their respective partners had hooked up. They both then went off into a cave and we’re left just speculating what could have taken place once inside.
All in all, The White Lotus finale was a pretty sublime finish with Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge) drowning after knocking her head while escaping ‘the gays’.
