The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived back in the UK on Sunday, September 4, in advance of this week’s charitable events.
Since their trip to the UK for the Queen’s golden jubilee weekend in June, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle haven’t been back yet.
While the Queen’s present home country of Scotland is not on the schedule for the whistle-stop tour, it does feature stops in Manchester and London. So, during their journey, will Harry and Meghan pay the Queen a visit?
It has not been confirmed whether Harry and Meghan will see members of the royal family while they are in the UK, but if they do stay at Frogmore Cottage they will be a short walk from the Cambridges, who have recently moved into Adelaide Cottage on the estate. Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie, now lives in the cottage, along with her husband Jack Brooksbank and their one-year-old son, August.
The Queen is currently taking her summer vacation in Balmoral, where she will receive the UK’s new prime minister on Tuesday (6 September) in a historic first. It is possible that Meghan and Harry could use Wednesday to visit Balmoral to see the Queen, but a spokesperson for the couple previously said that the trip would focus on the pair’s charitable ventures.
Harry and Meghan’s busy itinerary begins with visiting the One Young World 2022 Manchester Summit on Monday 5 September, followed by a trip to Germany on Tuesday 6 September to mark one year until the 2023 Invictus Games take place in Düsseldorf.
