‘The Witcher’ has upcoming bigger plans teases Lauren S. Hissrich

The show’s creator, Lauren S. Hissrich, hints that the fourth season of The Witcher will feature Minnie Driver’s as yet unnamed Blood Origin character.
Hissrich implies that The Witcher is in for much bigger and greater things. She claims that Kultura is the subject of an interview with the protagonist of Blood Origin, played by Driver, who also serves as the book’s narrator.
“When I meet her, she says that she travels through time and space, that it’s her job to make sure this story is not forgotten. All the time, even now that we’re starting to write scripts for Season 4 of The Witcher, we’re talking about how we can reintroduce this character”.

She added “So I definitely agree with you and would love to meet her again. We’ll see Avallac’h and Eredin again, but I think she’s really fascinating.”
Hissrich acknowledged that The Witcher fans might not share her love for this time in the history of the Continent. “We could go back to the roots and genesis of particular events for a really long time. I was also wondering what the Golden Age of the elves was like because it seems so romantic. This may not be a popular opinion among The Witcher fans, but I have a feeling that these stories are waiting to be discovered. There are so many directions in which you can go and constantly develop them,” she said.

Henry Cavill’s potential comeback was another topic Hissrich covered. She claims, “We’ll obviously never get into exactly why Henry left, all of the reasons. But I can say it’s been a mutually respectful relationship. So please, please, please come back in six months when we can talk.”
The Witcher returning to Netflix in the summer of 2023.
