Season 2 first look images for “Ginny & Georgia” tease new episodes

Ginny & Georgia, a Netflix original series starring Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry, will debut its second season on January 5th.

The streaming service additionally unveiled some first looks at the upcoming season, which provided some insight into what transpired after the Season 1 finale cliffhanger.

The images show that Ginny (Gentry) and her brother have returned home (you can open the gallery above to view them). The assumption was that they would flee to Ginny’s father Zion in Boston, which could still be the case given that Zion is seen in a photo arguing with his ex-girlfriend in the home’s kitchen. Additionally, a picture of Ginny and her mother talking in depth is shown.

As Georgia (Howey) is shown cuddling her fiancé Paul, she is back at school with her friends and spends a moment with her on-again, off-again love interest Marcus.

According to Netflix, Ginny has to learn how to live with the knowing that her mother is a killer in Season 2. Ginny is now burdened with the knowledge that her stepfather Kenny didn’t pass away naturally, and she also has to live with the reality that Georgia not only killed, but also killed in order to protect Ginny. Georgia, on the other hand, would much rather put the past behind her because she has a wedding to organise. The irony of Georgia’s past is that it never truly disappears from view.
