Rylan Clark resigns from Strictly It Takes Two on an emotional note

Rylan Clark came to emotionally announce that he is stepping down of Strictly Come Dancing Spin-off: It takes two after four years.

The TV host took his fans by surprise after proclaiming his resignation on twitter including a statement which reads “After four fantastic years it’s time for me to hang up my glittery jacket and say goodbye to It Takes Two.”

The presenter has hosted the BBC series since 2019 alongside Zoe Ball and Janette Manrara. Clark said “I’ve had the best time hosting the show alongside Janette and Zoe and I can’t thank the amazing team enough for always putting on a great show.”

The BBC said the 34-year-old would be “hugely missed”.

The show was initially started by Claudia Winkleman when Zoe took over and later joined as a co-host with Rylan in 2019. Not later than 2 years, She Announced her retirement and was later replaced by Janette. 

Clark’s replacement will be confirmed in due course, according to the BBC. The next series of Strictly Come Dancing is set to premiere in September.
