Royal Family Excludes Prince Harry and Princess Meghan

According to reports, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not invited to a royal family event held to remember Queen Elizabeth II on the anniversary of her death.

King Charles III is planning to hold a commemorative event at Balmoral Castle on September 8 to honor his mother’s memory. On that day, it will also be the anniversary of King Charles III’s accession to the throne.

According to The Sun, a source revealed that there has been no communication or invitation extended to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for the royal event.

“If they are not included in any of those plans they will find a way to mark the significance in their own way,” the source said.

Following their absence from the royal family gathering, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen leaving a popular restaurant in Montecito, California on Wednesday night, just before Meghan’s birthday celebration on Friday.

One day after the event in Balmoral, Prince Harry is expected to be in Düsseldorf, Germany, for the 2023 Invictus Games from 9 September.

According to reports, Meghan Markle will join him in Düsseldorf a few days later, and they are set to attend various events before appearing together at the closing ceremony on September 16th.

The guest list for the event is said to include senior royals, with Prince Andrew expected to be among the attendees.

German newspaper Rheinische Post reports that Prince Harry will deliver a speech, and Meghan Markle will assist in “moderating” the ceremony.

All senior royal family members, including Prince Andrew, are expected to be at the anniversary ceremony held in Balmoral Castle, according to The Sun.

Following the ceremony, King Charles and Queen Camilla will commence their summer vacation in Scotland on August 21st.
