People criticize Prince William’s warm gesture towards Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

According to a royal expert, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s invitation to accompany the Prince and Princess of Wales on a walkabout has raised their position.
The “fab four” royal spouses were last spotted together in public on Commonwealth Day in 2020, two months after Harry and Meghan made their decision to step down as senior royals known. Richard Eden of the Daily Mail, meanwhile, thinks that William’s offer of reconciliation was a “mistake.”

Mr. Eden stated, “I think William’s gesture was extremely sweet, but I fear it was a mistake because when they’ve made these kind gestures before towards Harry and Meghan, they’ve been thrown back in their face.”

“Look at how the Duchess of Cambridge as she then was went round after there’d been a row over these flower girls with Meghan.

“She took some flowers and then that was held against her, it was publicly used against her in the Oprah interview.

“It backfires. We’ve seen the Queen and King Charles in his address sort of downgrading Harry and Meghan, they’re just people overseas but what we saw with William’s gesture has elevated them.

“It’s made them central again now next to William and Kate and it’s wonderful for them but I do fear it’s a mistake.”
