A new Mayor of Kingstown Season 2 trailer has been released by Paramount+. The new season will premiere on January 15 on Sunday. The next day, the U.K. and Australia will host the premiere of the series, which stars Jeremy Renner and Dianne Wiest.
The McLusky family is a powerful family in Kingstown, Michigan, where the only growing industry is the incarceration business, as told by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon in their novel Mayor of Kingstown.
The series offers a sharp look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that lacks both while tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption, and injustice. Dillon, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Nishi Munshi, Hamish Allan-Headley, and Aidan Gillen are all featured in the series.
Mayor of Kingstown is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions. Sheridan, Dillon, Renner, Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Michael Friedman, Dave Erickson, Regina Corrado, and Stephen Kay serve as executive producers.
