Ms. Marvel Season 2 Update
Disney’s Ms. Marvel series on Disney+ was initially planned to contain numerous seasons from the start, all of which would have been shot virtually simultaneously, according to a recent report from Murphy’s Multiverse.
According to the reports, when casting for the show began, Disney had planned for the actress who would play Kamala Khan to appear in both seasons of Ms. Marvel before rapidly moving on to Season 2 of Captain Marvel. Although Iman Vellani eventually won the part of Khan in the show, there is currently no sign that a second season is currently in production.
Disney has not yet announced any intentions for Ms. Marvel’s upcoming second season, whether it will happen or not.
However, members of the first season’s cast and crew have hinted that there might be a second. Disney’s aspirations, despite the lack of a second season, nearly materialised because Vellani worked on both the first season of the show before beginning work on The Marvels.
In addition to working on the two films, Vellani is also anticipated to have “a very crucial role” in the next fifth Phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to the source, which means she will have plenty to keep her occupied.
This is probably because of her relationship to the multiverse, a notion that the MCU plans to delve deeper into in its next film and television programming.
Brie Larson, the Oscar winner, will reprise her role as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel in The Marvels. Fans last saw Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel in the post-credits scene of Ms. Marvel. In the follow-up, Teyonah Parris, a breakout star from WandaVision, plays Monica Rambeau, while Iman Vellani plays Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel.
