First Photos of Lauren Ambrose as Adult Revealed in ‘Yellowjackets’

Three exclusive first looks from Yellowjackets Season 2 have been published by Showtime, and they show Lauren Ambrose as adult Vanessa “Van” Palmer. In Season 1, Liv Hewson performed the role of the character as a teenager.

The start of Season 2 is scheduled for March 26. Earlier this month, the show received a third season renewal as well.

The story of a group of incredibly talented high school girls soccer players who end up as the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash in the middle of a remote northern wilderness is told in Yellowjackets, a survival epic, psychological horror story, and coming of age drama that is all rolled into one.

The series charts their transformation from a complex but successful team to savage clans, as well as the lives they have tried to put back together nearly 25 years later, demonstrating that what started out in the forest is far from over and that the past is never truly past.

Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Kevin Alves, Nuha Jes Izman, Elijah Wood, and Simone Kessell are also featured in Yellowjackets.

As executive producers and showrunners, Jonathan Lisco, Ashley Lyle, and Bart Nickerson are responsible. Additionally, Karyn Kusama executive produces. Executive producer duties are shared by Drew Comins of Creative Engine. The studio is eOne.
