Fans reacted as Frank Ocean’s Coachella livestream was taken out
On Sunday evening, Frank Ocean’s Coachella 2023 live stream dropped, led to online backlash after YouTube’s last minute announcement.
The festival coordinators have not given their explanation to why the performance was not shown live when the show was already scheduled to take in the first place. This is the first time that all performances were decided to stream free on YouTube when only selected performances were aired last year.Â
The video platform tweeted few hours before he was set to take the stage stating, ‘’Frank Ocean is not scheduled to appear on the Coachella livestream.”
Following Frank Ocean’s Coachella exit, disappointed Fans let out their vehement frustrations taking to twitter.Â
Regardless of the last minute changes, it seemed that Ocean finally appeared on stage last night and started with his performance. Gladly, Fans who were present in the crowd, streamed parts of it on Tiktok and YouTube for people at home scouring for show links on the internet.Â
It is still unsure why the singer’s performance got dropped from YouTube in the first place.Â
