Fraser, the Oscar-nominated actor shares his experience while shooting for the movie. While speaking to Deadline, the actor shared his experience, he said, “I got a little banged up from years of doing my own stunts and needed a surgical fix on the spine and the hinges.”
He further said, “That took a lot out of me. I knew I would get better, but it took a long time.”
The movie is directed by Rob Cohen. The plot of the movie is about a warlord known as the Dragon Emperor who unifies the kingdoms of ancient China to form an empire. In order to establish the Qin dynasty, he waged a civil war in which his troops burned scrolls and books that had already been printed. Later, he gave the order for the Great Wall of China to be built, and he buried the bodies of his opponents there. He gains power over the traditional Chinese Wuxing elements of fire, water, earth, wood, and metal.
The star cast of the movie is Brendan Fraser, Maria Bello, Jet Li, Luke Ford, Michelle Yeoh, Isabella Leong, and many others.
Fraser went on to describe how while filming the third Mummy movie in China he would get up every morning and get himself “together like a gladiator with muscle tape and ice packs, strapping on this Transformer-like exoskeleton just to get through the scene.”
