Singer and songwriter Alanis Morissette has made her own version public of Yellowjackets main theme song, ‘No Return’
The viewers might have been surprised hearing Morissette’s new version over the opening credits for the fourth episode of the show which rolled out on 13th April. The latest version of the song is made once for episode 4 since the original theme song will appear for its next one hoping that the viewers will get to listen to more of it.
As far as the song ‘’No Return’ is considered, it was initially composed by Craig Wedren and Anna Waronker who wrote the music for the show.
Morissette shared her opinion stating, “I love the original version of ‘No Return,’ It’s just a perfect song. It was a little daunting to be asked to reinterpret it but I see parallels between ‘Yellowjackets’ and my perspective while songwriting: the sheer intensity, that going for the jugular with no fear around going for the profane.”
Previously, Florence + The Machine covered No Doubt’s “Just A Girl” for the trailer for Yellowjackets Season 2.
Alanis will make appearances at various American Festivals which includes Boston Calling, Format Festival in Bentonville, AR, and Sound on Sound in Bridgeport, CT.
