Table of Contents
Mark your calendars for October 20th for American Horror Story season 11! Fans who have been following the series since the beginning are eagerly waiting for what Ryan Murphy has prepared for them this season.
All your favorite characters are back for AHS season 11..well mostly! There is Patti LuPone, Billie Lourd, Denis O’Hare, Leslie Grossman, Sandra Bernhard, and Isaac Powell along with some newcomers. But the real question is, would Sarah Paulson be in American Horror Story season 11?
When Sarah was asked about the reason for her leaving, she replied, “I don’t know. It’s the first time in about three years where I don’t know.”
She continued, “I think this is my last season of Horror Story, probably. I mean, I don’t know. Every time [Murphy] comes to me with some whack-a-doodle character, I tend to be like, ‘Yes, let’s do it!’ I don’t know, this is the first time. So we’ll see.”
Brb, we need some tissues here.
Sarah Paulson has been in the spotlight of AHS ever since it was released back in 2011. To honor her times in AHS, we’re going to list down all Sarah Paulson American Horror Story characters.
Billie Dean Howard In American Horror Story: Murder House
Paulson made her debut in the series with the side role of Billie Dean Howard. Her character provided information about the town’s state. Furthermore, she also told Violet about the afterlife as Howard found out that Violet is a ghost.
Lana Winters In American Horror Story: Asylum
Paulson was put under the spotlight in AHS season 2. She starred as Lana Winters, a journalist who traveled to Briarcliff Manor to talk to Kit Walker, a man portrayed to be a serial killer.
Cordelia Foxx In American Horror Story: Coven
Paulson became a series regular and was still the main role in season 3. This time, she played Cordelia Foxx, daughter of Fiona Goode. Cordelia was an inspiration to many witches and was always there to guide them. She was also gifted a second sight and had immense powers.
Bette And Dot Tattler In American Horror Story: Freak Show
Once again, Paulson managed to completely outstruck us with her acting. She played not one, but two roles in season 4, starring as conjoined twins Bette and Dot Tattler who were called The Siamese Sisters. The twins had one torso, arms, and legs but they had two distinct heads.
Sally McKenna In American Horror Story: Hotel
In season 5, Paulson once again portrayed Billie Dean Howard who was invited to a hotel but was lured somewhere else. On the other hand, Sakky McKenna used to a drug addict who was murdered at Hotel Cortez (The same hotel Howard was lured in). McKenna’s spirit was very much still alive and used to roam in the corridors of the hotel.
Shelby Miller And Audrey Tindall In American Horror Story: Roanoke
AHS season 6 had a bit of a mixup since there was a show within a show. Initially, Paulson played Shelby Miller but later switched to Audrey Tindall as the original Miller was splayed by Lily Rabe.
Ally Mayfair-Richards In American Horror Story: Cult
Ally Mayfair Richard was in American Horror Story season 7, portraying a weak woman consumed by multiple phobias, struggling internally. With time, her anxiety got even worse which had a significant impact of her relationship with her family.
Wilhemina Venable And Cordelia Goode In American Horror Story: Apocalypse
In season 9, Paulson played three characters; Wilhemina Venable, Cordelia, and finally Billie Dean Howard.
AND THAT’S A WRAP!
On an important note, it still isn’t confirmed whether she has left the show or not. There have been no posts about it, but there also hasn’t been her name on the cast list.
AHS season 11 is coming out on 20th Oct 2022!
